I still haven't memorized the speed I need to run to be sub-30 mins. on my next 5k! I'm going to run KM-Splits on my watch and run sub 6:00 splits - that's all I can tell you. I've been changing the splits based on the race length. 5ks and 10ks get KM-Splits while 5Ms, 8Ms, etc. get Mile-Splits. (Split number 10 was around two corners, and I didn't realize there is so much deceleration when you make a turn. I have to think about this for race time.)
Beautiful video. Your running is progressing nicely.
ReplyDeleteI'm an O positive. What do you wanna make of it?
thanks for the shout out buddy!
ReplyDeleteHave to wait til I get home to see your video. :(
ReplyDeleteLooks like you're closing in on the faster paces. Nice job!
well done on the intervals. cool video as well
ReplyDeleteWell done with the training, keep it going Andrew! Great video!
ReplyDeleteUse the virtual nemeses (I mean trainer) on your Garmin. Practice it first and remember that he always goes out too slow (lol).
ReplyDeleteLoved the video. Thanks for a great way to start the day. And as for your intervals, look at the progress you've made! You are rocking it.
ReplyDeleteAppears you prefer the longer distance intervals, who knew! :)
ReplyDeleteCool video. I forgot to tell you one thing in my last email. If your 5k has lots of turns RUN THE TANGENTS. So important. No wide turns aloud.
ReplyDeleteGosh, I love this planet.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing.
Amazing video. I'm a sucker for videos like this. I've got the Blu-Rays for 'Planet Earth', 'Life', etc. and could watch them for hours if I could figure out how to free up some time.
ReplyDeleteRunning numbers look strong. I have to dig out the telemetry strap for my Garmin and see what my ticker is doing during runs. I'm a total data junkie, yet I can't seem to get my act together tracking my heart rate.
Nice. Can't wait for YOUR pictures, too.
ReplyDeleteYou need a Title for this post....
And I think I'll start calling you "Star Runner" :)
Great intervals! I'd never really thought about corners like that. I guess that's why people like to keep a couple of minutes (or seconds) in the bag when they're going for a certain time.
ReplyDeleteGreat video - so beautiful. And your running is going fabulously!
