I've been so busy, that I haven't had time to follow blogs or post. I'm missing all the humor, jokes, points-of-view and RUNNING. I have all of 8 days left until my sub-30m 5k run and it's not going so well. I'm still in training and will post my training on the weekend. But that doesn't mean much since I ...
Don't phyc yourself out. 8 days is a ton of time before a 5K. Trust your training/trainer and you'll hit it.
ReplyDeleteWith regard to being busy, well we all get busy every now and........
You're going to be great! I have found that the races I stress over and worry about the most end up being my best runs. So just go out there and run run run!
ReplyDeleteBuddy...you're going to be just fine. And in the meantime...we'll wait for you.
ReplyDeleteTRY not to stress out so much - easy for us to say, huh? But you've been training a ton - do the best you can with the day you're given!
ReplyDeleteYou will do it man...no worries!!!!
ReplyDeleteJust keep working. You will get there
ReplyDeleteKeep on sticking to what you're doing. It'll come. I hope it comes in 8 days for you. At least you're running...I'm relegated to only reading about running since I haven't been able to run for a week.
ReplyDeleteYou'll do it! I have complete faith in you!
ReplyDeleteYour body is good to go - don't let your head try to convince you otherwise. Best of luck!
ReplyDeleteYou will be fine, it almost sounds like you are going through taper madness - just stick to the plan and you'l be good!
ReplyDeleteJust DO YOUR BEST. You'll still be "Star Runner" to me whether you run 29:59 or 30:01. I think you'll surprise yourself with your time.
ReplyDeleteOh, and did my comment about the cold temperature affecting your legs spark you to do a whole statistical analysis in that other post? I have to admit that I LOL'd and told my hubby about it (he has an MBA and likes that kind of stuff). Thanks for all of the effort in that--I found it really interesting. When you are less busy, I'll have to find out how you post all of your cool charts and graphs.
I can't wait to see that 29:XX! post:) Ann
Wondering where you went. Do you miss my potty humor? Fart, poop. There you go.
ReplyDeleteYou are going to KILL your 5K. I know it.
Do your best forget the rest! I just made that up....or did I?
ReplyDeleteI think you will do better than you think. YOU ARE GOING TO KILL IT ANDY
ReplyDeleteWhat an appropriate post as I myself have been juggling time like crazy. You will kick ass!!!
ReplyDeleteYou'll do great! Get back here soon, you're one of my fav's! NO PRESSURE!
ReplyDeleteOkay, good, I thought that you had broken up with me. Good thing you are back cuz Neil was going to be my favorite Canadian guy.
ReplyDeleteYou got this Grasshopper. Run like the wind.
I hear you on the busy thing - I have a hard time keeping up. Good luck with the run - whether you break 30 min or not, I bet you will PR!
ReplyDeleteYou've come such a long way Andrew! You are going to do great! Remember to enjoy the experience :)
ReplyDeleteYou are in huge trouble. I'd give up running and blogging altogether.
ReplyDeleteToo bad, I liked you when you were cool.
You'll do great! :)
ReplyDeleteOne week. You can do 30 minutes!! Don't read this!! You don't have time. What are you thinking? I hope you have walked away already.
ReplyDeleteGood luck, I' sure all will be great.
ReplyDeleteDon't stress about it...you'll be fine!
ReplyDeleteYou have some awesome friend here supporting you - it's in you, Andrew - gotta let the head games go. Your run yesterday was tough - but it was suppose to be - yet you did it! It was not suppose to be easy! I couldn't be more happy!!! Oh crap, I wasn't suppose to use excessive exclamation points per your latest post!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have faith that you will do well, free your mind and let your body do its thing.
ReplyDeleteHang in there...let the groove of the race flow over you & ride it to a PR...you will do great!
