Thursday Means Tempo Run

Today's Tempo run will be in the rain but it's looking like 42°!
  • 1.5 mile warm up
  • 3 x 2K @ 10:13 pace w/3 min @ 12:30 pace between sets
  • 1 mi cool down
April 17th and my sub-5k attempt is less than 40 days away!  40 days of desert and temptation to enter into glory!  (I think I'm taking this a bit far, don't you?)  Anyway, this time is a time of spiritual warfare.  I'll be using it to fight against my poorly-placed desire for ease, and to instill more gratefulness for the life I have been given.

  7. Nothing like the Lenten season to help with all that tempation and help propel you to you new 5K PR! I like your word choice of "Spiritual Warfare." Be "good" :) Ann

  10. I think 40 days is plenty, though yes, you might be taking the Lent analogy a bit far..

Hope the run went well! (It's probably just further up my Google Reader eh..)
