I hope I'm Scottish ...
No News back from the Race Director for the Kilt Run, but I've decided I'm gonna get a Kilt made for me. A nice Scottish made kilt costs about $230 retail. To rent a Kilt about $39. To buy material and have one made $25. My Mother-In-Law said she'd make it if I found an authentic pattern!

Andrew, the correct answer to "What is worn under the kilt" is "Nothing is worn, everything is in working order." You can also use, "Socks and shoes." And the one I have used in the past, "I can tell you for $10, I can show you for $20."

I hope that run isn't too long or you're going to definitely need some Body Glide. Ewwww.
Doug, you only need Body Glide if there is a reason for chaffing... SO, if he wears the kilt "correctly" there won't be any chaffing.
Lisa, if I want a kilt in my family tartan it would cost just about US$490. And would take a while to get to me from Scotland. That's the problem with having a rare name.
