... some travelling Polo promotion team had set up some wooden Polo ponies and kids were wacking the heck out of little soccer balls with wooden mallets. But there's about enough space here to run a 30-meter sprint. I think I might have to go down to the waterfront as a warmup and back as a cooldown, and do my intervals and tempo runs on the lake.
But I'm gonna check out Spadina, and maybe Avenue Road in the other direction. We will see how many people I can barrel into before the Police arrest me!
Today on the docket I have: 6 miles @ Base + 6x30M strides + 2x20 sec each (Skipping for distance, Karaokes, Side shuffles, Fast feet, No arms)
I don't have my running kit here, plus I need to figure out if the building has a shower. I would not want to force my sweaty self on anyone after my runs!

I know, awful thought, but is there a gym with (gasp) a treadmill nearby? T-mill running really helped me with speed.
Hmmm, what was the IMF director's name again? ; )
Good luck finding a place to get the run in.
If you decide treadmill, some of the hotels will offer a cheap membership to use their exercise rooms.
This is simple,
go south to the lake then west along the quay to the martin goodman trail (starts just before the ex).
You can also go east along the quay to the part of the MG trail although the first km is along the road before you get to the MG.
good luck getting the run in.
As we like to say down here in the US, "Mmmmm, interns"
Good luck on the runs, and yeah, find a shower.
suppose you could run in place. :p
xo
That grassy spot is an excellent place to do some drills, though. Barefoot even!!!
good luck on finding a spot to run! I think I remember you saying that you take the train into work, so you don't have a car to be able to drive out of the city.
My blog friend Vava lives in Toronto I think, maybe he has some tips:

Hope you can find some good running grounds there. That is one reason why I run early in the morning. I work in Johannesburg central city and there is no place for running anywhere. Have a great weekend!
I hope you found someplace!
I looked on another map and it looks like if you go up University, you can run at Queens Park. Plenty of trees there in the middle of the city for fresh air (depending on nearby traffic). I'm not there, so I cannot tell. Just north and west is UT and they have a track. Just look like you belong there, maybe buy a shirt from their school store and wear it for your workouts and sneak on the track if it isn't locked up. Good luck!
