Blog Awards

I received the following awards recently:

Stylish Blogger Award (from Julie @ Hotlegs Runner, Teamarcia @ Running off at the Mouth, Chris @ BQ or Die), and the Versatile Blogger Award (from Julie @ Hotlegs Runner).

Thank you all!!!

My Versatile Blogger responses haven't actually changed much they are here.

The rules for the Stylish Blogger hot potato are:
1. Link back to the person who awarded this to you.
2. Tell us 7 things about you.
3. Select 5 recently discovered bloggers to pass this onto.
4. Let them know they've been selected.

7 things:
  1. I pull to the side of the road when I see an email from Chris on my BlackBerry
  2. I get excited when Adam reads a month's worth of blog one evening and then pees on the corner posts
  3. I was sad to see that KC kept the streak alive
  4. I don't watch much sports anymore on TV (remote is owned by the other people in the house - I think they're called my family)
  5. I want to spend more time with my wife (she's the one in bed with me - so awake time)
  6. I shaved my beard
  7. I have trouble counting
  8. I like good sci-fi movies with good plots (they don't need a lot of action)

5 recently discovered bloggers:
  1. Abby (Fit to run for fun)
  2. Nej (I think I can, I think I can)
  3. Julie (Adventure is out there)
  4. Jonathan (Triathlon MD)
  5. Jeff (Detroit Runner)

Did you mean to say "Jill" when you pull off to the side of the road when you get an email? I mean, you never know when I may have you doing something totally on the spot. "Andrew, stop whatever you're doing and give me 50 burpees with pushups right now." :)

Thanks for the award!! When do we get to see your smooth face?

Hmmm versatile and stylish? Maybe now that the beard is gone...

I don't get to use the remote either. I didn't know there was such a thing as a good sci-fi movie.

Quit braggin' about all your nominations already :) Geez Looweeze. Smooth faces (and heads) are what all the real men are sporting nowadays.

I can't count either.
I use my fingers and sometimes do tally marks.

I love number 10! SyFy channel is my favorite, but that's probably because it's the only one I get. Cheers!

Too funny. You never disapoint Grasshopper. How about that Adam? He really does "batch" his reading activity, eh?

You do know why you can't count, right? Metric system.

Man up, take the remote back.

Fantastic, you are a popular dude. For good reason I might add, love your blog!

OH my I'm such an idiot! I just re-read your post and you said you shaved your beard! LOL This is what happens when I skim things!!

Thanks Andrew. I'll get blogging about myself. Also, sci-fi WITH good plots, I think that's probably limited. :)

oh your wife must feel good right about now! And maybe we need pics without the beard? :)

Nej said...

Thanks for the award!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I posted my response today!!! :-)

"Trouble counting" then you went to 8. I see what you did there.

Thanks for the award! I'm going to go attempt to do it now!

And ALL I do watch is sports because the remote in our house is controlled by those people called my family too :)!!

This reminds me about some tags/awards I've been given by some kind bloggers. I usually "bank" them for when I don't have anything to post about and then forget about it. I suppose that's a good sign that I do have something to post most of the time. Can be tough, this blog thing.

Congrats on the award. I've been sick for the past week or so - I think I need to learn from Adam and do some batch reading! Hope all is well and this snow isn't killing your training plans. :)
